This folder holds photocopies of financial and legal papers of the Cattermole family of Boulder, Colorado, 1860-1918. The papers include George and Henry Cattermole's stock certificates from Colorado railways and mining firms, etc., papers concerning George's property in Boulder, a promissory note for $1,500 owed to John H. Stephenson by G. H. Cattermole in 1916, and the will of Elizabeth Cattermole of Fort Madison, Iowa, which likely predates the family's move to Boulder.

George H. Cattermole, who received a commission as first lieutenant and assistant surgeon in the Colorado National Guard in 1904, was a physician who practiced medicine in Boulder from about 1900 until he moved to Los Angeles in 1923. He corresponded with the Fred White real estate agency of Boulder in 1918 regarding the sale of a house on 1645 Water Street, Boulder, Colorado. Elizabeth Cattermole was his sister.
